The low will then move over Victoria overnight to be centred just east of Tasmania by later Thursday, and a high pressure system will develop well southwest of the Bight, extending a ridge over the west and north of the State. This high will move slowly eastwards on Friday, ahead of another low pressure system developing near the western border during Saturday morning then moving eastwards across the Bight during the day, before weakening and moving

Winds southwesterly 30 to 45 km/h decreasing to 20 to 30 km/h in the middle of the day then becoming light in the late evening.
