Tasmania. The high will cross Tasmania during Monday, extending a ridge across
Western Victoria. The high and associated ridge will continue east to the
Tasman Sea on Tuesday. A deep low pressure system and associated cold front
enter the Bight on Monday. The front is expected to reach western Victoria late
Tuesday before sliding slowly across the State on Wednesday and weakening as
the low becomes near stationary to the west of Tasmania. A mild, humid and
unstable northwesterly airstream will prevail across Victoria for the remainder
