the Bight. The trough will cross southern Victoria on Friday, bringing milder
southerly winds to the south as the front slips to the southeast across
Tasmania. The trough will stall over northern Victoria over the weekend as
cloud from an upper level trough moves across the State.
Hot and sunny. Winds north to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h increasing to 25 to
40 km/h early in the morning then tending cooler southeast to southwesterly 20
to 30 km/h in the afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 19 and
22 with daytime temperatures reaching 36 to 41.
Cloudy. Medium (40%) chance of showers in the afternoon and evening. The risk
of thunderstorms. Winds southerly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light during the
morning. Overnight temperatures falling to around 16 with daytime temperatures
reaching the mid to high 20s.
Partly cloudy. Slight (30%) chance of showers, chiefly in the morning. The risk
of thunderstorms in the east in the afternoon and evening. Light winds becoming
southerly 15 to 20 km/h during the afternoon then becoming light during the
evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 14 and 17 with daytime
temperatures reaching 27 to 32.
