Meanwhile, a ridge will strengthen over southern Victoria, associated with a
high pressure system over the Bight. The ridge will persist across Bass Strait
on Tuesday, then extend across Tasmania and into the Tasman Sea on Wednesday as
the inland trough gradually deepens over southern NSW.

southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the early afternoon. Overnight temperatures
falling to between 11 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching the low 20s.
Tuesday 21 Partly cloudy. Slight (20%) chance of a shower. Winds southerly 15 to 20 km/h
increasing to 30 km/h before turning southeasterly 15 to 25 km/h during the
day. Overnight temperatures falling to between 9 and 13 with daytime
temperatures reaching between 19 and 22.

and evening. Winds south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h. Overnight temperatures
