embedded low pressure system deepening over eastern Victoria late in the day. The trough will clear Gippsland early Sunday as the low moves offshore and continues to deepen, with milder southwesterly winds throughout Victoria easing during the day as an approaching high extends a ridge over the state. The high is then expected to move over the Tasman Sea on Monday, as another cold front and associated low pressure trough cross the Bight before moving over Victoria later on Tuesday.
