cold front and associated trough will move into the Bight on Wednesday and are expected to cross Victoria during Thursday. On Friday a high over the Bight will extend a ridge towards northern Victoria. A weak cold front will move through Bass Strait during Saturday.

Sunny morning. Slight (20%) chance of a shower, most likely in the afternoon and early evening. The chance of a thunderstorm with little or no rainfall in the afternoon and early evening with gusty winds. Winds northerly 30 to 45 km/h increasing to 35 to 55 km/h before dawn then shifting south to southwesterly 25 to 40 km/h in the afternoon. Overnight temperatures falling to between 19 and 23 with daytime temperatures reaching 33 to 38.
